A Pvt Company was formed last year (under Companies Act 1956), the appointment of the First Auditor was not appointed by the Company. Now, the company wishes to make he appointment, so what are the remedy available to the Company.

Co. can appoint first auditors in general meeting. Pl refer Proviso (b) to Sec.224(5) of CA 1956.
