Just refer suggested anwers and practice manual. You will get idea of it.... mention related S.As in every answer. Think in professional way. size doesnt matter if ur answer got bullet points. yeah.. in some answers you have to maintain length. Paragraphic answers or point wise answers...doesnt matter. Main thing is attempt for 100 marks.
All the best

Hi, As per my discussion with one valuer, he first check your undestanidng on Professional ethics even if the you written it last.. we know now ethics comes not in a compulsory section, but still my suggestion is to score high on this area since 16 - 20 marks coverage and is a definite question to ask in the exam. So if your ethics answer gone bad so you will have to be in caution. I know some of you might have passed even without answering ethics part.. but still its a suggestion.
Second, apply your practical skills in the anwsers besides the theory part to make an impression since most of the valuers disregard the answer keys and expect practical answers... The fact is this.. but valuers may be there purely depending on answer keys so do not disregard material and practice manual...
Further the last descripttive (4 marks x 5 sub questions) section i find more repetitive questions and if you check past 12-16 exams they are repetitive and if you study 36 such topics then at least 3-4 sub part will repeat..
Further concentrate recently amended topics like schedule vi and reporting aspects..
I applied above strategy and got good marks in auditing (61).
Hope the above useful to you..

Throw away all the refrence books and concentrate only on the study mat.
Believe me in my last two attempts i had got 44 & 31 in Audit ........... This time i got 64 marks and even qualified CA.
Read the study mat like a story book ..... just read it and its more than enough

Its better you study from the ICAI Material and suppliment it with Practice manual... like if you finish one chapter of auditing then practice the questions asked in the pr. manual and so on. Never read the pr manual alone. So many areas are there in the material which not covered in the pr manual and not asked in the exam.

Some valuers can clearly identify whether you learned from material or from the pr manual or you studied both. They are so much experienced and please do not under estimate them..

6 months back I was facing the same problem.. Couldn't clear CA due Audit as got 38 in last attempt..
But this time I changed my approach a little..
I had worst of the Exam I could have given this time In Audit but to my surprise got 48 & 60+ in others..
First n foremost ask for a certified copy of ur exam sheet.. it helps a lot to focus on ur marks distribution.. U can make out from it why the examiner hasn't given u enough marks that u hoped for..
Secondly & most important yesss marks are given on point basis.. This is Elite.. Try to answer every question in point basis according to the weightage
Also in PE try to write the outcome i.e what the disc. comm. would do..
If u require any further help feel free to pm me..
