USe both Padhuka and Surabhi Mam's book Simultaneously. Padhuka is very good for understanding but it wold be difficult to revise entire padhuka in one day at the time of exam. so if u have time then use both first time to get understanding frm next time u may use surabhi mam's book for revision

paduka is best 4 auditing. It covers all the chapters in detailed nd comprehensive manner. by reading this u would be able to write the answers in efficint nd proper manner. nd this is very important to present the answer in a gud language.

If u have both the books,then u should use both the bks in the following way :-

AAS , Special Audit & Company audit II = Surbhi bansal

Vouching & Verification = Padukka

Company audit 1 = study

first 4 chapters from surbhi bansal

You should refer one reference book. The best book for audit is subjective. if i had studied the padhuka, it is better frme..like that some will suggest VK agarwal some others surabhi bansal...

Padhuka book is an exact replica of ICAI module and past suggessted answers.....

Surabhi Bansal you can adopt the same for short span of time that is now

I never suggest study one book and revise with other book...Study one book, understand the concept and document the concept and revise  with note write the exam with your ideas

HI ARVIND

MY VIEW IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT

THAT BOOK IS BEST WHICH CAN BE REVISED IN LAST DAYS OF EXAM

NO DOUBT CONTENT WISE PADUKA IS BEST, BUT IT IS VERY HARD TO REVISE IN EXAM DAYS

WHEN U HAVE ONLY 1 DAY.

NOTES OF SURBHI BANSAL ARE GOOD ,4 THOSE WHO TAKE COACHING FROM HER

BECAUSE THIS BOOK HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO FACILITATE THEIR STUDENTS.

NOW WHAT TO DO ??????????????

1. READ VINOD AGGARWAL BOOK { ALSO CALLED AS TIPS}

2.READ PROFESSIONAL ETHICS  PORTION FROM PADUKA

U SEE IN AUDIT Q.1  &  Q.2  DETERMINES YOUR RESULT MOST

Q.1= IS A MIXTURE OF  AS,SA, COMPANY ACT,CARO etc

SO IF U HAVE MODERATE COMMAND OVER THESE TOPIC ,U CAN PASS EASILY.

MY TIPS:

> ATTEMPT Q.2 FIRST (PROFESSIONAL ETHICS)

>THEN SHORT NOTES (usually comes in exam as last question)

Q.1- IN MID OF PAPER

ALL THE BEST

Give paduka one reading only....but thereafter do only surbi bansal...paduka is very big..and auditing is not a subject u can spend so much time over...

I feel paduka book is best but I agree with this view that Please study main chapters from study material as it will clear in your mind the concepts and area to study.though paduka book is gist of study material and based on it. Institute study material are according to international standards and are yardstick. your base is study material and paduka is supportive to this.
