I want to know whether a partner of a firm after signing 30 Tax audits on behalf of the firm can sign the balance in his or her individual name.

45 is the maximum limit for tax audit assignments.

yes, the limit of 45 tax audit is for the individual, whether working in a partnership firm or in his individual capacity.... and thus, yes, he can sign on remaining 15 tax audits on his individual name (not as partner).
