Dear all my Professional Friends and Experts

Can you suggest me on the following

Can member of ICAI not holding Certificate Of Practice do any attestation. If not then what is benefit of only holding membership without COP as in case of Industrial Job or any other business one need knowledge than degree which person have it whether he is holding membership or not.

Whether such Member donot hold any COP can they do certify anything not involving any financial figures for e.g. Certificate for Bank Current Account Opening in case of Proprietership to certify only address or certify that person caries on business, exam forms etc.

In any case attestation fuctions cannot be delivered by a CA who doesnt hold COP..

CAN DO ATTESTATION EXCLUDING FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND ITR'S

I MEAN CA ATTESTATION CAN BE USED FOR TRUE COPY OF DOCUMENTS OTHER THAN ABOVE..........

Is It means, can CA not holding COP but only member do certify documents not involving financial figures ??????? for e.g. 1) Certificate to Bank just certifying that person carries any particular business or 2) exam forms or 3) person residing at particular address etc.??????? because now days many institution, banks and authorities asking such certificates just as proof which does not have any financial implication but only for procedure purpose

Please clarify on this
