You can expect the nagative marking for illogical mistakes only ,,, not otherwise ..

Hi Manali,
Nobody Knows how the ICAI wl valuate the paper. And, I was in a thought tht if I attend (show some effort) the question I may get a mark as its in other competative exams.

girish,
yes friend, u r correct. Had u not attempted the question there remains some doubt whether u hv any knowledge about the question or not. but since you have attempted the question it shows that u do have some knowledge about it; atleast u tried. So there is definately some benefit of doubt friend. so it was absolutely a correct decision on your part to attempt the question, atleast it shows tht u have an idea about it.

Dont expect to get marks icai always deducts 5 to 10 marks so that passing % falls it is strategy of institute. Dont Expect any bonus marks

Dnt presume tht ICAI wl reduce the marks to get their passing %age... this some what doing like child for chocolate...Remember If u really worked/shown good effort u desire to get the success in the exam.. and nobody can avoid it....Think Positively...
