I just logged in after 3 days. I found notifications and opened this post. I became happy that you all honored members made this post memorable by adding good views and knowledge. I will also add that many of my Brahmin neighbors and relatives are so poor that they can’t maintain motor cycle. Many of them live in rented houses or very small house. Here are many persons who belong to st, sc classes and maintain four wheelers. Point is that reservation can’t b justified on caste but will be better based on economic condition.

One more important issue is about noble status. Traditionally Brahmin worship God. The most worshiped Hindu gods Ram and Krishna are not Brahmin (if you believe in caste system). Lord Shiva and Hanumaan too, I think not belong to upper caste. Brahmin worship gods who don’t belong to their caste. Point is that not caste but ethics and moral are important.
