Friends....I had applied for termination of articleship on 17th dec , 2009.
I have nt received any reply from the instititute about the said application. When I am contacting some specified authority , they r giving somebody else's number. I have even mailed to President and secretary but nt received any reply....
Can any body tell me who is a actual authorised person to respond to our questions????

Dont worry.. They take atleast 4 months to reply. It happened to me. U wil get a reply by April end..
I am getting very tensed because if they take time more than March end , i wil complete my 2.5 years of articleship and in the last year of articleship , transfer is not allowed as per the rules of our institute.........

hey people i have got to know from sum sources colud possibly be a rumour as well....that a panel of new counsel members will be presiding after uttam agarwal ...and due to many complaints related ro articleship transfer....te first thing that the new president is ought to do is to allow atlleast one transfer during articleship tenure..lets hope for the best.!

mam i dont know bout such thing bt i don think such things gonna happen....
when i got registered it took them 7 months to sent me d registeration letter...
such things happen and they really piss u off...
just relax everything will b fine...

pls remember ur ca can use his position to irritate u or harras u ...
bt keep in mind u have to spend these 3.5 yrs under him ...
so try not to involve in any fight or argument..
nidhi bhatt is right. our new president Mr.Amarjit chopra s gonna withdraw the statement by UPA regarding conditions for transfer of articleship. so don worry
I jus hope that the new president does something about it. Cos right now, even my re-application for termination stands rejected. I really dont understand what to do???

what about them who had already had a transfer before march 27 2009; they also should be allowed to take one more transfer. icai can restrict it to 3 in a city; between transfer there should be at least 6 months gap; and it shouldn't be before 6 months of any icai exam.
