Articleship registration

Hi friends.. I cleared both groups of IPCC in May 2012. I joined for articleship on August 22nd and had send form 103 to the Institute for registration of articleship. But I had not registered for final at that time. Later on I got a letter from ICAI stating that I should pay Rs. 10000 towards final registration and only then, my articleship registration will proceed, as I have completed both groups. In turn I send to them the same.. Nw 2 weeks are over.. Yet I don't find myself registered as an article, in the articleship status verification site. How long will it take to complete the entire procedure of articleship registration ? Anyone could answer me please..?? I'm really tensed that all those who joined our firm after me, also got registered and my registration is still pending !

Yah,,,,,There is for registering under final course in CA final is fees of Rs. 10000 but for articleship there is only 2000 fess wether u have paid the same at the time of sending doucments.If All this are ok then u may call ICAI article section and conform from there whats is exactly ur problem . And one more thing u just relax...some times ICAI takes times but not to wory...

I had send 2000/- earlier itself ie., on september 3rd...

And the remaining 10,000 also has been sent on october 16th.

Hope it wil get registered soon..

As you said, Let me Contact ICAI .

Hi sridevi,

The latest information that I got regarding this is that it will take about 2 months to get registered, after applying for final course. so that I have to wait till december 15. Anyway there is nothing to worry.. Some of my friends too who passed both the groups faces the same problem. So that's common I think. We'll get registered eventhough there will be a slight delay. If you get any latest update regarding this,, please do inform me. ok? Let's hope for the best..

As i know it some times takes times for registration and also some of my friend got regisrtation certificate after the completion of Articleship So i think nothing to worry.

Everythings gone be f9...lets hope for best

i cleared both groups of ipcc in feb'12. i regestered for articleship on 1st april'12 but i didn't regesterd for ca final till now. i desired to register for ca final in nov 2013.is there any problem by doing so? is it compulsory to register for ca final immediately? And some of my friends who joined in our firm after me &those were cleared only group1 of ipcc wered regestered as article clereck under my principle but i didn't find my self. is there any problem plzz answer me? And when will i appear for ca final exam.

Sridevi,

I think its better to register for final course as soon as possible. Seek to your principle whether he have received your articleship registration letter.. If he have received the same, then you need not worry. Otherwise better enquire to ICAI about your registration status. If u have been registered as an article wef. april 1st 2012, then you will be eligible to appear for final exam in November 2014. Our eligibility to appear in the final exam is on completion of 2.5 years of artilcleship.. That is from 2.5 years, after your registration as an article.
