Mr. Mandar, The calculation which you have done is correct, you have taken excess leave of 30 days, Institute rules says that the method you calculated above or 180 days which ever is less will be your leave entitlement.....

say i take leave for the whole month of January 2011. now do i count it as 31 days or do i count it as 24 days (assuming 5 sundays and 2 public holidays)?

my query is with reference to Annexure II leave calculations, on the students training guide

 it clearly states that :

 Total number of days served

Less: Total leave taken (other than weekly  holidays)

total leave taken 24 days (i.e 31- 7)

Other then weekly holidays (5 sundays and 2 public holidays)

What if article works on Bank Holiday!!!!!

1. Should it be counted as extra  !!

2. Defination of Bank Holiday wherein Proprietor is Hindu then Bakri-ID should be bank holiday or not????
