I am an article student in an audit firm, my articleship commenced on 25-4-2012.
But due to ignorance my auditor has paid through cash for the first 3 month, not knowing the fact that the payment for article student should be paid only through account payee cheques.
From September 2012 he came to know the fact and paid to us through account payee cheques.
Now institute is asking me to furnish bank statement to register my articleship which is still pending (even after I completed 1year).
Is internal voucher generated by our organization sufficient that my stipend has been paid? (as i have no deposits for the month of May, June and July in bank)
Can i show it as advance taken for my montly expenditure for the 3 months and so no stipend was paid as the advance amount equalled to the amount of advance taken by me for expenditure.
Kindly guide me on this as soon as possible
