I've had my interview in December 23 in KPMG. While leaving from interview, The HR said he'll call me in 3 to 4 days. I didnt receive any call. So after 10 days i asked the HR, he said it'll take more 3 to 4 days since he is evaluating the other article candidates. I understand the firm may be busy with other work, but its already jan 10 i have'nt received any call. If they ignore, does it mean they've not selected me ???
Pls help. I think I should call him once again n confirm in a short while.

It takes time....Its not a small firm where they will decide in a couple of hours....Have patience....Or else, join somewhere else...

Thanks friends for ur replies. Actually the fact is that I got to join a firm before jan 30 or else my CA Final exam in november 2010 will be extended to May 2011

Put these facts before your HR and ask them to clarify.

I've spoken with HR. I am now asked to wait till my PCC Results are out . Now my results will declare whether i get selected or not . Its already 45 days since am waiting. if i register for new articleship after jan 31, then i will not be eligible to write CA Final in november 2010 . PCC results expected on jan 30 or 31 . So if by luck i pass and get selected then my CA final will be postponed 6 months for sure .
