Dear Friends

I am doing articleship in CA partnership firm and i have completed my articleship partly (1.5yrs). I have made an articleship under a partner of the firm. Now my principal (partner of the firm) has decided to retire from the partnership. Pls reply me can i continue my articleship under any other partner in the same firm (or) shall i change my articleship with any other person out of existing firm.

Is there any possiblity available in our articleship guidelines, if i change my articleship to any other person within the same city.

Yes, you can change your articleship under any other partner within the same firm or also you can register for articleship under any other CA Firm in your city or other CITY. But first you are required to inform institute about the reason why you wish to change your principal. After their permission you can join new CA.
