BOTH GROUP WILL MUCH HELPFUL TO GET ARTICLESHIP IN BIG-4..........................

I cannot say about all the Big 4 but E& Y has a certain policy. They take articles in 3 different departments. In 2 of them they take students who hve cleared 1 group and in 1 deppt they take students who have cleared both the groups.

Whether you should give both or a single group should be decided by you once you have started studying for the same and after you have analysed the course totally.

My personal suugestion is that first try for both the groups, but then if you think that you cannot cope up the pressure then go for the first group only and when the exams end in may, then prepare for the 2nd groups in the time between the exams and results. This is a good way of optimum utilisation of time.

hai rahul,

1. you made a mistake.. cpt june result is awaited on july 19-20..nt june.

2. great congrats 4 ur expectations..may u achieve that.

3.  you shud go 4 both gropus coaching together..it wil only consume 6months in leading CA coaching institutions. going 4 separate coaching 4 both groups is bad idea.

4. it is ur capability which depends on the decision to go 4 bth groups..

5. if u appear individually 4 gr.1&2, it will be considered as 2 attempts..

6. appearing both groups is the best & better choice..,which is my unbaised opinion.

7. anyway, u hav to get 50% aggregate..(gr.1 alone or gr.2 alone or both together..)

8. pass ipcc with superb marks..then lets think abt articleship..

hmm thanks every1 ur replies r much appreciated , i want to know wt is the benifit of gving both the groups except :

1. save +6 months

2.compensation of marks like agg needed is 350 .

except these 2 wt r the benifits of giving both at a time ?????

You can say that you are in Final after passing both groups.....

Your self esteem goes higher when you pass both at a time.......

Your confidence increases.........

More proud to say that you are in Final than Inter.....

Firstly there is no saving of 6 months as u can directly start your articles after passing 1st group and give your 2nd group during your articleship. So please clear this point.
