how to deal with the arrears of pension received by the govt employee who is a senior citizen? The amount of arrears is Rs.1150000.

Whether there is one time pension i.e. commuted pension or its uncommuted pension ?
When its commuted pension its exemption in section 10(10A).
When its uncommuted pension it is chargeable to tax.
