My client has been paid on 30th June 2010 arrears on rent for office cum residence Last 10 Year Rs.38000/- aprox
Can I disallow 1/3 and claim as expense for F.Y.2010-11 It is allow by bylaws

as per section 25B, if the assessee has recd. any amount of rent by way of arrears, it shall be chargeable to tax after deducting 30% of the amount so received.......
