Do you know why the name of that company is SUZLON???

It's mix of two words... 

SUZ - That is in hindi (or even gujarati... am saying this coz the founder who names this company is gujarati...) - what we call as suz-boooj... in layman's lang... Brains...

LO(A)N - Yep... I mean LOAN

The founder... TULSI TANTI... always believed that he could start his company because of two main factors...

One Being SUZ n the other....LOAN...

Previously he was engaged in Textile Business at Bombay Market, Surat.  It is hardly 15 years back story.

In 1996; there were so many public issues on WIND MILL ENERGY.

Only Kalptaru Power and Suzlon succeeded.

Rest of the companies were bogus and they run away after issuing shares to the public.

@ Resham - Thanks for sharing the information. I found the same story on different websites about the name SUZLON.

Earlier Tulsi Tanti was in Textiles business Now, having 58% share in Suzlon India with his 3 siblings.

He was in top richest Indians List in 2006 Forbes Richest Indian List.

Suzlon Ltd. is Asia's No. 1 and world's number 3 wind energy company.
