A owner has given a shop on rent. Rent p.m. is Rs. 1 lacs approx. Apart from rent, owner charges the tenant maintenance charges of approx Rs. 10000 p.m. Is the owner liable to pay service tax on the maintenance charges received?

Yes along with Rental charges; but to be collected from tenant and pay to department.
