Appointment of director in egm in a private company
section 462 exempts private companies from the cumbersome procedure of depositing of rs. 100000 for a candidate to stand for directorship.
My query is whether is it necessary for private company to appoint additional director or company can directly appoint director in egm without appointing as additional director.

Yes, he can be directly appointed in EGM. Appointment as additional director is not necessary.
