Appointment of auditor - query
Hi!
Hey everyone! I have a confusion in Audit (IPCC). According to CA 2013, auditor appointed in an AGM holds office from the expiry of that AGM till the expiry of the 6th AGM.
Is this statement correct? And does it apply to Government companies as well?
Please reply at the earliest. Thanks!

yes , the statement is 100% correct as per section 139(1). It applies to all company.
