Applicablity of companies act 2013 for a public company

The 2013 Act is applicable to electricity companies also except to the extent that the same is inconsistent with Electricity Act [Ref.Sec.1(4)(d)].
Sec.129(1) of the 2013 Act is not applicable to such companies since a separate form of financial statements is prescribed under Electricity Act.
