Applicability of vat

One of the businessman is in the business of the trading of commercial vehicles.(dumper , trucks etc.).He purchases the such commercial vehicles from other states(inter-state) and sale the same in intra-state(with in Gujarat).

There is some confusion thet whether the CST and VAT will be levied and collected under CST Act and Gujarat VAT ACt?
