I m santosh kumar(cs. inter) student..I just wants to know the applicability of tds for NGOs and the areas on which TDS should be charged.

Applicability of TDS for NGO

NGO in my opinion are very well covered under the definition of person u/s 2(31) , it is body of individual formed for "Not for profit purpose".
All TDS sections will applly to NGO reason being exemption in some TDS section are given to individual or huf who have not crossed out limit of turnover u/s 44AB , since it is BOI no exemption will be available .
