applicability of surcharge, edu.cess in case of TCS

Dear colleagues,
 
as we know from 01.10.2009 surcharge and edu.cess is not to be taken into consideration for calculating amount of tax deducted at source.
what would be the case for tax collected at source? will it be the same as in case of TDS?
 
please guide.

Yes, like tds, cess would not be applicable on tcs. You can view latest tds/tcs rates at following link -
