I WANT TO ASK THAT ONE OF MY PARTY IS DOING THE JOB WORK OF GRINDING BENTONITE AND CHINA CLAY.

THUS I WANTED TO ASK THAT WHETHER HE HAS TO TAKE SERVICE TAX NO. OR WHAT?

I SEARCHED BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND SO PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS MATTER

If jobwork doesn't amount to manufacture it is covered under servicetax

BUT MY PARTY DOES ONLY THE JOB WORK AND HE DOES NOT MANUFACTURE ANY THING. AFTER DOING THE JOB WORK HE GIVES BACK IT TO THE PARTY FROM WHO HE RECEIVED IT. AND THAT PARTY MAY BE MANUFACTURING ANY PRODUCT FROM IT. SO IN THIS DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE SERVICE TAX NO.
