If new CARO and amended schedule III will be applicable on Companies Financials, if we are conducting Statutory Audit of a Company for the Financial Year 2020-21 during May, 2022??

Out of curiosity i wanted to know is stat audit possible for FY 20-21 as this is too late right ?
Stat Audit is possible but penalty may be imposed for delay and non compliance...
But my query is still unanswered....
