I conclude not even for May 2017 Final Exam, reason being this aspect is to be covered in the Statutory & other audits during FY 2016-17.
GST Act is projected to be implemented by 1st April, 2017. However, amendments applicable for CA exams are older than atleast 6 months from the month of exams. E.g. For may 2017 exams, amendments incorporated uptill 31st October, 2016 shall be applicable. So, for May 2017 exams there will be no change in syllabus. And as per the suggestions given by ICAI, GST will not be applicable upto May 2018 exams.

In the transition phase it is expected that the students who have already taken up the study will not be diturbed. Once Act & Rules in place considering the major shift it is likely that an option for writing with the subject of GST would only be in place by may 2018. Earlier to that, it would not be put in place.
