if a proprietor is running a registered gst firm and he is also have a property in his individual name which is given on rent for commercial purposes. how applicability of GST is to be tackled in this case.

Bcoz,
If GSTIN taken by A Pan then GST is applicable his all taxable supplies... The Commercial rent is Taxable under GST...
So,
The above said rental income is GST chargeable by the Landlord of the said GSTIN holder..

u need to charge Gst on rent invoice because service u r providing in the course of business or furtherance of business & also leasing, letting out building including residential complex for commercial purposes is supply of service under schedule II.

whether to issue GST invoice bearing the name of the firm or the name of the individual as property is seperately owned by the individual not reflecting in the books of the firm?
