hi hardik let me tell you that rank is not measure of one's intelligence. So if you can get more than 140 in your CPT, you have one a nice job as you have six months.
I have passed my CPT exam in june 2009 and I have secured 156 marks in it.
1) be confident. paers are not tough.
2) concentrate on basic concept instead of solving more and more papers.
3) prepare acct thoroughly it will help you so much.
4) for law give more importance to practical sections

Ur aim is good.If ur aiming at an All India Rank, firstly develop a positive approach to ur preparation.Keep a focus and maintain concentration thruout the preparation period.U might have studied most of the cpt portion in ur higher secondary syllabus, but never be overconfident.Give equal importance to all subjects though focus mainly on Quantitative Aptitude as it is the toughest in the cpt.Practice problems as much as u can in Accounts and Q.Aptitude.As about Mercantile Law,try to apply the different provisions in reality so that u can get conceptual clarity.Try to solve Model Test Papers to analyse ur areas of strength and weaknesses. All the best..!!!

Gocharan
