hello guys any one plz help to let me know the procedure for getting answer sheet copies...i saw the rti decision but about procedure i am not aware

Although as per decision a student can see his answer copies, but no system (i .e. procedure) is framed by ICAI for this, It means that the right to see answer copies is limited to theories not yet implemented, However you can get your copy rechecked by paying Rs. 100 for each copy via DD to ICAI

Their is no such procedure required to be laid down by the institute in this regard. The law is as clear as it was before the judgement..

A person seeking any information which can be accessible under the RTI Act, 2005 (requirement of answer sheet in ur case) is required to file an application with the concerned Public information officer (PIO) (u can find urs at the link ----- https://www.icai.org/post.html?post_id=4741 ----)

The application must be headed as "An application under the RTI Act, 2005" only.

Then u can write in a simple way, what u want exactly with the necessary information which can help getting the information required by u. No reasons are required to be cited in the application. The answer to ur query shall have to be delivered by the institute within 30 days of the deposit of the application. U can alternatively cite the Delhi High Court decision.

As per earlier ICAI notifies re-totaling of answer sheets and the fee for re-totaling of answer sheets got revised as Rs.100/- per paper and a maximum of Rs. 300/- for one group effective from may 2008 declaration of results.

PROCEDURE

Write an application by hand giving detail w.r.t. your Roll Number, Attempted Group, papers desired to be revalued and attach the required fees by way of postal order favour of Secretary, ICAI. Result will be out in max of 30 days. Chances are low but you can’t say.
