Hi Renu,

No such provision relating to signing of annual return exists as per my knowledge.

Thanks & Regards

There is no such provision. As per section 159 of the Companies Act, 1956, Annual Return should be prepared and filed within 60 days of the date of Annual General Meeting.

agree with ankur sir.

while filing form 66 of 4 private companies i encountered following errors

The Directors signing the eform is also director of the defaulting company which has bot filed the due balance sheet/annual return. Hence the director is not allowed to file this form.

Though i've already filed the b/sheet and annual return .

@ virendra I suppose u hv filed the b/s and p&l before 1st oct 2011 since after first october 2011 mca21 has put in effect this restrictions

I've filed them on 15th nov. though till now we haven't receive acknowledgement of all the forms . Is that could be a reason ?

This error usually occurs if the director who affixes the signature is also director of any other company who has not filed their returns. The same has happened in one case and I have uploaded the return by affixing DSC of other director
