No. Actually ITR has introduced for the purpose for annexure less. That is why asking so many questions & Section wise details in the ITR forms. No need for annexures. But the Income Tax officer asking annexure for only their satisfication & convention.

From Coimbatore. TN: From reliable sources it is given to understand that the Assessees have to enclose all the Original TDS certificates in support of TDS claim. for Asst. year 2008-09. In most of the cases either by phone or thro ARs, the IT Dept., has requested the production of original TDS certificates, where the TDS credit claim is in excess of Rs.10,000/- for Asst. year 2007-08.
