Hello to everyone here.

I am a newly registered user of this forum. I had heard a lot about caclubindia from friends and decided to check it out for myself. I found some of the articles quite useful. Discussions regarding different aspects of our chosen professional course/profession are also very insightful and knowledgeable. However, I have observed that the level and quality of written English isn't of a standard that would be expected from practitioners of a highly coveted profession like Chartered Accountancy. In almost every thread there are a lot of basic grammatical and/or spelling/punctuation errors. I would like to know your opinions on this. I know our profession isn't one which requires us to have exceptional word skill, but certainly, a certain level of competency in language skills is expected, which is sadly found to be wanting here. I would like to add that this is not a personal grudge against/attack on any specific member, just my own observation, as the thread title says.
