Amendments Required for Addition of New Business in GST Registration?

I am a composite taxpayer under GST regime running a manufacturing proprietary concern in West Bengal. Now I want to enter into contract business with government entity through tender. Whether it is required to amend the GST registration?

May be Yes...

As per my latest experience for the kind of Supplies make to Govt entity, Dept can't accept Composition dealer's Bills...
They Required Tax Invoice with Taxable. It's mean Regular Dealer's Supply is needed to Govt...

Note :

Also I don't know Govt entity receive supplies from Composition Dealer

Yes, agree with Raja sir.
Composition dealer cant do services other than restaurant service.
As the work contract is service, your registration must be regular.

Yes you have to amend your registration. As you also can not claim credit for tds deucted by govt under section 51 which is very soon to notified in future.
