I filed a ITR-2 return for AY13-14 in Oct 2014 using the excel tool online. I filed it after the due date which was in July 31 2013.
However, I have not sent the ITR-V by speedpost. Now, I want to make some modifications for some income which I forgot to include.
Is it possible to revise/rectify it online before sending ITR-V?

S. 139(5) allows revision of return only if return has been filed u/s 139(1) [i.e within due date] or in pursuance of a notice u/s 142(1). Therefore belated return can not be revised
For rectification u/s 154, you need to enter communication reference no. , i.e any intimation u/s143(1). Without it you can not rectify.
Therefore wait till you receive demand notice/intimation u/s 143(1)
Since you forgot to include income so your tax might also be higher,consequentrly there may be interest liabilities.
