Industrialist seeks better investment returns and good working situation for efficient business activity at lower cost and Gujrat state is currently one of the best state in this scenerio which is providing cheeper land,electricity and labour whereas in MAHARASHTRA industries are suffering from non availability of labour, proper power supply etc . Powerfull transportation system is one of the strength of gujrat state which is a weakness of Maharashtra

Also there is political stability is gujrat state where in maharashtra we know what is going on .

Thus decision of Ambani and all other industrialist is right in my opinion

The commitment of investment is the berometer of the infrastructure and project approval and other facilities. As reported pravanda our finance minister has instructed the chairmen of the natinalised bank not to participate inthe process of MOU in Vibrant Gujarat. It means the central government does not consider the Gujarat is a part of the Union of India. This may be evident from the actions of congress from time to time since independence.

our state in general and our Mumbai in particular has inbuilt strength and very little positive approach by the politicians and the burocracy can do wonders for us here. Alas it does not happen. As stated by our chief minister every one is interested in MILKING MUMBAI  and not its people.

Extremely sorry state. May GOD HELP.

Action of Congress overhere is totally motivated by Politics ....not a good move for growth of indian & gujrat economy ........anyways it wont make any big diffrence for Narendra modi & industrialist as they are in capicity to raise funds from somewhere else also .....

Time to overcome from this Rubbish type of Politics.

I am happy that I left Mumbai 23 years back i.e. at the beginning of my career and never felt guilty that I made a mistake.

The management of the bank may be in the hands of some officers but they should not forget that banks are running its acitivites due to huge public deposits.

Indian public can put thousands of crore of rupess in a single IPO.

So if the government thinks that public sector bank will not finance such MOU projects; they will commit a major mistake.

Agreed with u surendra sir ji ....that is y is said in my previous post that ..... industrialist have so many other ways to raise the fund ......Congress Govt should not forget that all previous IPO and Debenture Issues of all these companies are highly oversuscribed and one more thing is ...not only gujrat state people but also public of other state have great faith in investment in gujrat state .

Not only maharashtra but also Rajasthan and all other congress ruled state failed to attract investores as well as tourism in their state............. even if they have great potential in that ........Rajasthan is one of the best example of it ..................... I m not totally againist congress govt. but in my view congress govt just gave its attention to  devlop good statistics only ...nothing else ...........

crime has inreased manyfold..

officers which are wrking the ryt way are getting transferred..

(eg. Dr. Samit Sharma )

and industrial growth is around minimal 2%...

no employment opportunities..

as well as poor state of industries..
