In AMA there is no amendment in terms of syllabus, so you laying your hands on the material on some renowned teacher, should help you. Just ensure the author has covered all immediate past examination question papers,as most of the questions appearing in the examination are repeated.
You just make it a habit to go through reading AMA theory every day for forty five minutes to one hour, repetitive reading will help you to cover the syllabus and help you fetch good marks in the examination. Try recollecting the points as given in the material and reproduce the same in your answers in the examination.
All the best for your preparation.
