Alternate directors are directors in their own capacity and hence shall be counted in quorum.
As per section 210 in case of first FY of co. annual a/c's have to be placed within 9 months.
in case of subsequent FY annual a/c's have to be placed within 6 months+extension allowed under 166 (if any).
