Can a Limited Liability Partnership become a shareholder in a Private Limited Company ?

Allotment of shares to LLP

According to Section 2 of LLP Act "LLP" is body corporate and Companies Act do not have any specific provision which bars LLP as a shareholder. So yes LLP can become shareholder in a company.
