Pls let me know within how many days a Private Company has to allot the shares , if the Private company has recieved money for share application ?

Within 60 days from receipt of application company has to allot shares.
Previously this time limit was not applicable to private limited companies. Now it is applicable to both pvt and public ltd companies.

Ankush, pls Quote the Sec in which it is written that co has to allot the shares within 60 days ?
