All circulars of mca

My counter question on the postings is, do you think that the circulars/notifications issued prior to 1978 relevant even today or have they been revised as the time has progressed and most have become dormant?

For a long time DCA was a part of ministry of heavy industries; then part of the law ministry; then part of the finance ministry. However, right until the year 2004, DCA was never thought of as an independent ministry and, rightly so, the main job of the DCA was the administration of the Companies Act along with some other enactments.

You cant said that there is no relevancy of old cases or amendment in present senario. in many situation we have to refer old cases or notifoication bcoz in those respect no new notification or circular come. and old circulars/notifications/clarification are also part of preent cos act, 1956
