agricultural property
in tamilnadu panchayat approved house site are not registered by stamp duty office. can agricultural activities be done and considered by I.T. dept as urban or rural agriculture land.

As per amended section 2(14) definition of Capital asset excludes land situated in India on which basic agricultural operations are carried out during the PY is called as agri land.
So no need to measure the distance of land from municipality limits
attn Karan sir, could you please provide the amended version of section 2(14)
