Is it compulsory to attend Company secretary in Annual General Body meeting ???????

Yes because Company secretary only person who helps for making company formation. and also while general body meeting he has some rights to change the company principals

Hi,
There is no legal provision for making it compulsory to Company Secretary to attend AGM. However, the Company secretary is principle officer of the company and is mainly entrusted with the function of ensuring complainces with statutory provisions applicable to the company. Also, all matters relating to General meeting, Board Meeting, etc are considered as integral part of the job of a Company Secretary. Hence, by virtue of his position, Company Secretay becomes inseperable part from conducting and attending the AGM
