Experts,
1. The individual practicing advocate is getting the fees from his client more than Rs 21.00 Lakhs during this first half of this FY.
2. He does not have the GSTIN.
3. His client is discharging their GST liability under RCM method.
4. Now the query is that whether this individual practicing Advocate needs to get register under GST Act as a mandatory basis.
please clarify.

Hi Marimuthu,
As per Notification no. 5/2017-CGST dated 19.06.2017, no registration is required to be taken by persons who are exclusively providing services which are subject to GST under the reverse charge mechanism.
