Advertising means when one is incurring any expenditure on its own behalf for promoting its product's sale. for instance like putting banners on roads, showing advertising on TV/Radio etc...
Sponsorship is also a type of advertisement, but the comapny incurs the expenditure on behalf of others. for instance in case of cricket matches, there are various spsonsors such as say Airtel, Idea etc... who incur some part of expenditure for holding the cricket match. In this wasy it also tries to show in front of teh public the name, its initiatives taken, so that people come to know about it.
Regards yoru question, it would amount to advertisement, because the company has incurred expenditure on its behalf to promote its product. Just as one gives an advertisement in an newspaper for any purpose such as say for job application, home loan etc.. same way this is.

A logistic company is providing courier services to myntra along with that it is also providing branding services(viz.,courier boys of service provider company is wearing the dress with myntra brand name during the course of delivering myntra's courier query is whether the branding service will fall under reverse charge as sponsorship service or not
