Hello Friends,

I've started my preparation for May 2010 PCE, i started with Advanced Accounting Subject.

I first began with partnership chapter in the beginning of Feb'10 but till now i didn't complete the same (i may complete it today or mostly by tomorrow hopefully), as i'm solving all problems taught at coaching center, if i do so then i will not be able to cover other subjects, and the way i'm solving is dead slow. I'm unable to speedup and much of my time is going on to TV and Computer. I'm unable to avoid these things...!!

How to get rid of TV even if my favourite programs are coming ? and sometimes i realize and sit for long hours but the way i do the problems is very slow. How should i speedup and avoid my laziness ?

I'm wasting so much of time knowingly but i'm not opening books, why is this happening with me ? I'm feeling guilty for wasting time too, but still i don't understand what to do. Please help me solving these small problems with your tips.

Dont study at your home..go to some library sort of place where u can study in peace.!

i also started studying Accounts on 14-02-2010 and by now i have completed Departmental Accounts & Branch Accounts and i am also solving each n every question taught at the Coaching Classes.

today i started Partnership Accounts and hopefully i'll complete the same by Tuesday morning because i study till early morning and i have classes of Costing-FM & Taxation also going on so thats why i am picking biggest topics of Advance Accounting at this time because as the exam time come near i wont be able to devote as much time as i am devoting rite now in these topics because these topics are time consuming and also very important from Exam's point of view..i prefer to study theory (Audit & Law) in the travelling time as i daily go to Classes which are far from my House.!

So this is my short strategy...

Dear Vuelve,

You have wrote that you are doing Partnership Topic from Feb. begining & if i am correct than it may have 50-60 problems covered by your coaching classes notes.If 30 mins are sufficient for doing one single problem( assuming for 20 marks ) then you should solve the all 60 problems in 30 hours.Asuming 12 hrs per day of study then all problem can be solved in 3 days( remaining 6 hrs extra time).But you have taken almost 22-23 days for the same( effectively less than 3 problems per day).You also know that you are wasting your time & feeling guilty for the same.I will only suggest you that if anybody can help you now is only YOU bcoz i think motivation & confidence should come from our own soul then only it is posible to acheive what you want.And dont go on guilty trip now otherwise you will lose your precious time only.Be confident Be positive & rest you already know what you have to do.Further when you study your whole mind should be there otherwise you may go to library or any where else you will find the same situation.( i.e.Time pass only)
