31 December 2012Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to know about advance tax.
Advance tax is payable on the Income earned in the F'Y or P'Y.
If F'y then as we all know the dates that is 15 june,Sep,Dec,Mar, The tax to be calculated is on the income earned from 1/4/20.. to 15 june or 31 may.
Kindly help me with this .

The Advance tax is payable on the projected income of th F Y.
The tax is calculated on the basis of projected income for the full F Y from all the sources.
Then the requried % of installments are paid based on the total projected tax liability.
