On 1/5/2020 advance recieved for supply of services Rs.500000 total bill amount is Rs.1000000 bill raised on 24/6/2020 and balance recieved on 24/6/2020 when should I file gstr 1 and should I pay tax on may?

Sir if goods are received 5th month u will filed Gstr 1 same month

Here the payment of 500000 rupees which is received in the month of May will be treated as inclusive of GST and in the month of May itself it is has to be filed in GST r3b of May month along with the liability payable on that. balance amount of 500000 rupees which is received in the month of June will be filed in GSTR 3B Of June month.

Since advance receipt against services are taxable under GST you need to show as an advance received in May 2020 GSTR1 and balance amount in June 2020 GSTR 1

Filing of GST R1 is based on the option which is selected by you that is on quarterly basis on monthly basis if you have have choosen file GST R1 on quarterly basis then you will have to file this only in the month of July. otherwise if chosen to file on monthly basis then file on monthly basis.
further if the GST R1 of the May month has already been filed then the turnover can be adjusted in the subsequent months GST R1.

Abahy gupta sir, in case he has received advance and reported his books but goods delivered in June month then when he will filed gstr 1 sir

If the advance received in May 2020, it will incude in GSTR1 for the month of May. The balance amount cleared during June 2020 and it will include in GSTR1 for the month of June2020.
