I want to know applicability of advance ITT

I have registered for Articleship on 20-4-2013 so as per notification Advance ITT is applicable to me but when it has to be done????

i mean whether i have to complete it in 3rd year of articleship or i can do it before also.. and is it compulsory to do before final exam????
