Hi Fellow CAs,
Can someone please suggest me how to include additional place of business under DVAT registration? Questions include :-
a) Which form is required to be filled?
b) Can it be filled online and if yes, is a hard copy required to be submitted to the department?
c) How much time does it take to effect the change?
d) Any other formalities required?
e) Please also suggest any sales tax consultant.

Dear Anshul,
* If you are doing fresh registration under DVAT Act, you have to fill Part - C of DVAT-04 for any additional place of business.
* If you are already registered dealer under DVAT Act, then you have to file DVAT-07 for amendment as additional place to be added and submit the same with department with documents.
1) in case of fresh registration, DVAT04 -Part C to be filled.... and in case of existing dealer, just DVAT-07 Part C to be filled.
2) Now everything can update online under DVAT, and hardcopy must be submitted alongwith document to the department.
3) when you approved the DVAT-07 online , then it will update with immediate effect.

There is no fees for additional place of Business, if you are ammending / adding into the existing registration.
